To get to Skibbereen from Cork airport, follow the N71 to West Cork and Skibbereen. Once in Skibbereen you will pass a church and the tourist office on the left-hand-side (while on North Street) and be forced onto a one-way system (by turning left onto Market Street). Follow this road past the post office and you will come to a roundabout (after the Medical Centre on the right-hand-side), follow signs to Castletownshend (first exit off the roundabout) and you will be on the Castletownshend Road.
